What is the Baghdad Battery, and do fruits have voltage? What does blood look like under a microscope, and can you paint a picture using algae? Scientists will answer these and many other questions during the first Pomeranian Researchers Night which will take place on September 29th in the Tricity area.
On this one and only night of the year, scientists will step away from their daily tasks and ongoing research, open up their workplaces, and show children, youth, and adults how fascinating, engaging, and above all, accessible science can be. There will be dozens of events to choose from, including scientific demonstrations, laboratory tours, workshops, lectures, interactive events, and competitions! All of this to stimulate the thirst for knowledge and show everyone that exploring the world, acquiring knowledge, analytical thinking, drawing conclusions, and igniting the imagination bring great joy.
The Pomeranian Researchers Night is an opportunity to meet scientists and a chance to discover the fascinating world of science in a less serious than usual format. PRN participants will have a variety of attractions related to the exact sciences, medical sciences, biological sciences, as well as psychology and the broadly defined humanities to choose from.
